The Northeast Baptist Conference is a network of 70 churches located in the northeast corner of the United States. We have voluntarily partnered together to strengthen and encourage each other as we each serve the Lord in our local communities. We are in association with 12 other districts affiliated with the Baptist General Conference. Our theology is biblically evangelical; our character, intentionally multiethnic; our spirit, positive and affirming.

Young Life, P.O. Box 520, Colorado Springs, CO 80901. (719) 381-1800 Our young people today are waiting for somebody to care about them enough to take the time and trouble to pour out compassion on them, to prove their friendship, to bridge this tragic and terrible gap that exists in our culture between teenagers and adults. . . - Jim Rayburn, Young Life Founder

Young Life

For nearly six decades, Young Life has been providing strong, positive influences in the lives of young people. Here's how others describe Young Life.

Kids' Quotes

"I went to Young Life meetings because I liked being around all my friends. Before long I realized that Young Life is much more than just a good time. I learned things that were to change my life forever." - Al, high school junior, Maryland

 Adults' Quotes

(photograph) More Adults' Quotes

"When I was in high school, I can remember Young Life being a safe place to go whenever I needed to get away from the pressures of being a teenager. What meant the most, though, was that the leaders were always interested in me, and it really made me feel like someone cared. That's what Young Life is all about." - Shannon, Kingsport, TN

 Experts' Quotes

"Pat and I hold a deep respect for the ministry of Young Life because of the way it appeals to kids right where they are, and in an attractive way exposes them to Godly principles for living. It drew our two sons into a closer relationship with the Lord, and provided them with many deep friendships that will last a lifetime. It is also a way for many of us that are caught up in the pressures of the world to influence our kids positively through our financial support." - Joe Gibbs, former NFL football coach

Bob Pardon

The New England Institute of Religious Research was founded in 1991 as a mission outreach to provide churches, organizations and concerned individuals with up-to-date research on cultic structures. The Institute also provides training in ministering the Gospel to those caught by such destructive groups. We personally meet with the members of various groups to share the true Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. Another important dimension of Institute ministry is an emotionally and spiritually healing environment for ex-members. We offer information, resources, and counseling to those who have a loved one involved in any type of spiritually abusive group.

Bob and his wife Judy are also the founders of MeadowHaven, a place of healing for those who have left spiritually abusive groups.
